In the mornings we do an activity called Mindfulness. Now, you may be asking yourself what is Mindfulness? Well, Mindfulness is a way to relax and just take 10 minutes to use your senses. Some emotions you might be feeling when you do Mindfulness are -

Mindfulness is a really good idea for those who feel like each morning they need to relax.

Aim : To Investigate The Solubility Of Baking Soda And Salt And See What Disolves Faster.

Epuipments: A 250ml Beaker, 100ml Measuring Cylinder, Salt, Baking Soda, A Stirring Rod, A Teaspoon And A Ruler.

Hypothisis : I Think Baking Soda Will Dissolve Quicker.

Method -

1. Fill A Beaker With 80ml Of Water
2. Add A Level Teaspoon Of Baking Soda
3. Stir The Solution Untill All The Baking Soda Has Dissolved
4. Repeat Step 2 & 3 Untill No More Baking Soda With Dissolve
5. Record How Many Teaspoons Of Baking Soda Were Added
6. Repeat With The Salt

Jahseh And The Murderer

The sky is beautiful, a beaming blue colour that transitions into a pale white. The large mountain is looking down at the cluster of boats sailing away from shore. The bright blue sea is shaded by the emerald trees on the side of the mountain. Jahseh is sitting up in the sky looking down at the boats harmlessly sailing across the sea.

Jahseh used to be a rapper but his life was ended with a tragic death. He is still a legend and is in heaven with the Nototious B.I.G and Tupac. He lived on a good life and has a child named Gekyume Onfroy that will some day look up to him. He was a leader and inspired many young adults to have a better life, he will always be looked upon as one of the best rappers to ever live.

Suddenly there was a big sound and the scene that Jahseh died at flashed in his eyes, it sounded just like the gun that he got shot with. He looked down to a see that part of the water was turning to a pinkish-redish colour... Just like blood and water mixing. The problem played in Jahseh's head for about half a minute and Jahseh realised that it was upto him to do something, if only he could signal someone or something.

Then it hit him like a brick, Jahseh used all the powers in his almighty body to cause a tsunami that will return the wounded body to shore and also scare the murderer enough to run away from the scene and end up near a police with the gun in his hand. he had his eyes shut tight and his teeth biting down so hard he thought his teeth might break. he opened his eyes and the water raised up while going towards the shore. But Jahseh wanted revenge. He closed his eyes once again and he wanted the murderer DEAD. He made huge waves and was trying to drown the murderer... He succeeded!

SLJ, Donald Trump

The current President of the United States of America (U.S.A.) is a man named Donald Trump. He was elected President in 2016. At the time, he promised the American people that he would build a wall between the U.S.A. and Mexico - the country immediately south of the United States. He made this promise because he wanted to stop people from crossing the American-Mexican border. Earlier this year, a migrant caravan (people moving in a large group) came through South and Central America on its way to the Mexican-American border. The people in the caravan were heading to America to find jobs and build a better life for themselves and their families. You can learn more about them in this video. Donald Trump’s plan to build the wall is very controversial (some people strongly agree with his idea and others strongly disagree).

In my opinion, Donald Trump building the wall has some benefits and some disadvantages, and here's why I think that. In mid 2017 Donald Trump claimed that he is going to build a wall to keep Mexicans out. The reason I think this is a good idea is because some of the ‘Mexicans’ are doing things other than just coming in to work and have a better life, these so called Mexicans are going into America and ruining people's lives by doing stuff that I don't even want to talk about. But there are also some bad stuff about building this wall such as, some of the ‘Mexicans’ that are wanting to start a new life.

What Subject? Welsh!

There are alot of subjects offered at Hornby High School, but there are also alot of subjects that are not offered here at Hornby High School that I would enjoy doing, one of which is the language Welsh. The reason that I would like to learn Welsh is because I have always wanted to be able to talk more than one language and I know people that can speak Welsh. Niko Omilana is a famous youtube comedian that speaks Welsh and makes people say inappropriate stuff.

What Country Would I Spend A Holiday In?

Have you ever wondered where you would spend your dream holiday at? Or ever thought about how cool it would be to relax in the sun all day and not have to worry about cold weather and rain? Well, I have and I've came to a conclusion... I would spend my dream holiday in Jeju Island In South Korea. The reason I would go to Jeju Island is because its a really cool destination and alot of tourists go there every year. Did you know the population in Jeju Island is 604,700. Another reason I would like to go there is because the beachs look really cool and really warm. Did you know that Jeju Island is known for its beachs and volcanic landscapes of craters and cavelike lava tubes.
