So once you have collected all of those you need to set it up in the obvious way. Heat Proof Mat, Bunsen Burner on top of that, Tripod hovering over top, Gauze Mat on top of the Tripod and then Bunsen Burner.

Put zinc-nitrogen in-to the Busen Burner and put in on orange flame until its boiling the change the flame to blue put the 10c coin in for 10 mins and then get it out and put it under water then put it under the blue flame for 5 mins and wet it the wipe it with a paper towel

Orana Wildlife Park

When I got to school on Tuesday the 18th of September I felt adrenaline rushing through
my body as I was nervous but at the same time excited. When we were on the bus me and
Jayden were talking and in the time of 10 minutes we were there.

When we got to Orana Park we were told some safety rules and then we went to animal school.
We learnt about the Kiwi and Kea. Did you know that the kiwis bones are not hollow like most
other birds? Did you also know that chocolate is toxic for Kea’s?

Then we went and saw those fabulous animals. After that we went and saw some birds.
Then we saw some Spider Monkeys. Did you know Spider Monkeys tails are stronger than their
arm? Then we saw the almighty Tiger. Did you know that if tiger are not fixed they will do something
called squirting so that other tigers know that it is that tiger territory?

Then we saw the lion. The lion leaders name is Khan, he tries to scare you by hiding behind a
bush and waiting for you to walk past. Then we saw the cute Tasmanian Devils. But when they
open their mouth it isn't so cute. Then we saw the horse with stripes… or better known as the
Zebra. Zebra are actually black with white stripe not white with black stripes. Then we saw the
Buffalo… man they were big. Then we saw the Cheetah. Did you know that the Cheetah is the
fastest animal to live? Then we saw the Apes also known as the Gorilla. Then we saw the
Orangutan. Did you know that they wear sacks on their head and sunhats.
Then we saw the Addax. This animal is not really known by a lot of people.
Then we saw the Rhino. Did you know that a Rhinos horn is made out of the same
thing our nails and hair is made out of...also known as keratin? Then we saw the Giraffes
and we feed them. Did you know that Giraffes tongues are naturally pink but they turn purple
to not be harmed by the sun...like sunscreen?
Then we saw the Emu’s. They are so tall. Then finally we saw the Meerkats. They are so small
and cute. In total we saw 17 animals and it was all awesome.
