Wellbeing Mindfulness Term 1

In the mornings we do an activity called Mindfulness. Now, you may be asking yourself what is Mindfulness? Well, Mindfulness is a way to relax and just take 10 minutes to use your senses. Some emotions you might be feeling when you do Mindfulness are -

Calm
Happy
Sleepy
Zoned Out
Relaxed
Satisfied
Dreamy
Lazy


Ways to feel those emotions are -

Reading
Listening To Music
Lying On A Bed
Playing Board Games
Oddly Satisfing Videos
Listening To Birds Sing
Nature
Drawing
Colouring
Painting
Doodling
Fidgeting

Mindfulness is a really good idea for those who feel like each morning they need to relax.

  1. Hi Callum, this is a cool post! You are lucky to have the oportunity to do this in your class - it is such a great idea. I like your lists of both how you feel and how you can achieve that feeling. What works best for you? My ultimate relax is walking on the beach. Reading works too if i have a great book. I hope you are finding lots to do while we are away from school. Would be great to see some posts about what you have been up to!
