calendar art 2016

we were told we could pick any picture for calendar art and i picked the painting one. We have been working on our calendar art and i am making one where we have to paint a thing in the sky i painted a sun,rainbow and rain clouds. My favorite part of making it was my practice copy because i got good feedback from the teacher and friends. Logan gave me feedback on my practice copy.

Amazing work Josiah. I like how you picked hunting but for the Paralympics. Im wondering how would the blind people participate in it because how would they know what they're shooting at and how would they know where they are? I´m wondering if you like hunting do you?

Term 3 recount

I have been working on this piece of writing and I think I am nearly done. If you find something I can work on, please post a comment with some advice that you think would make my recount better.

Chuck the Chicken

It had to be that day. I was sick at home so all I got to do was watch the video. The kids in my group went in the hall after lunch. They played Chuck the Chicken for Kiwi Can. They played it to have some fun and learn about resilience.

The rules for the first round was you had to keep on passing it around the circle then when Nathan said Chuck the Chicken! The person with the chicken would chuck the chicken somewhere in the room. It looked pretty fun.

The rules in the second and last round was the same you had to keep on passing it around the circle then when Nathan said chuck the chicken the person with the chicken would chuck the chicken somewhere but the person that chucked it could chuck it anywhere.

Another rule was the people that were trying to get the chicken  had to go under and over and under and over until the person that started was at the front again. The people that were chucking it had to run around the circle and each person in the circle had to do it and get back before the next person could go and the groups had like a one person difference so I didn't think that would do much to make one team win. When I watched it I really wanted to play it. In the first round the people were getting the chicken and passing it until nathan said CHUCK THE CHICKEN! Then they had to chuck the chicken and meanwhile the people that were trying to block the chicken had to pick it up and get into a line then if they got it before the people that were chucking the chicken they won but if they didn't they lost which means the other team won. Then in round two which is the final round they had to chuck the chicken anywhere but the people that were trying to block it had to do under and over and under and over and if they got it before the people that were running around the circle they had to get to there spot quickly than the other person had to get around quickly and then everyone had to get around the circle before the other team did. The chicken was a cow but it sounded like a pig so it seemed weird.

I felt sad but happy at the same time because I was sad that I was sick so I couldn't play it but I was happy that I saw it and how enjoyable it looked.

creating a sport for the paralympics

If I could make a sport I would make the title be wheelchair paintball. The rules would be you have to wear a vest to know which team your in. You cant shoot for 20 secs because everyone starts in one area which would be in the middle then they need to scatter. Your allowed to lay down and seek and you can pick up bullets off the ground. How to play you have to keep running away and no camping.

what I could do to fundraiser for the Paralympic New Zealand athletes

I could sell hot dogs out side of stores to get money to give it to them- I figured it out because I done it for my league club with my family and friends-The purpose is for people that are going in the stores or saw the hot-dogs will come and get some.

Make a party or celebration and you have to have a ticket to get in and the tickets are money-I figured it out by thinking of party's or a club lunch which my league club does and make it so you have to pay-The purpose is for people might see a sign and think to buy one and inside there is free drinks and food to eat and you can take some away back to your house and even maybe make it a theme for maybe like a dog or a super hero or even a plant or zombie


Raffles for anyone and the prize would be to go watch warriors vs cowboys with 5 other friends-The reason to get money because a lot of people would want to go-But you can get as much tickets as you want.

Who could I pick?...

If I was at the Paralympics for cycling I would pick my friend Logan because hes funny and positive on everything I do and if I want to do something that I want to be really good he will tell me what I need to work on. and he will support me all the way and he will make me feel like I can do it. He is always there for me and makes me laugh and would be good for me.

Im in the crowd for the Olympics

If i got to pick what happens at the opening ceremony at the Olympics they would all be running around in there uniform then they all started posing depending on there country New Zealand would be doing a haka pose America would be dabbing Canada would be in a marching pose and Hungry will be rubbing there tummy
