Logo Blurb

WALT:To create a good logo for Uru Manuka!

We have been making Logos to represent Uru Manuka. We all gathered together and learnt about what is a good logo, why they have used the colors they used and why did I use the colors I used? I got a Chromebook and started to work I made a couple designs and then from there I created the one I liked the most! Also if you dont know what Uru Manuka is basically its a group of schools that work together around the same place... so were an area cluster. Who's in Uru Manuka? St Bernadette's, Hornby primary, Gilberthorpes, Hornby High, Sockburn, Templeton, Yaldhurst model and South Hornby School.

F.B.N Skills

Today we did F.B.N (Football, Basketball, Netball) Skills. We learnt some ball skills but most importantly how to trap a ball?

First we learnt that to trap a ball you have to put your foot on top of the ball and make it stop.

Then we tried it and we found a problem that it is hard to trap a ball when it is in th air so we tried to figure it out.

Then we came to the solution of, when the ball is in the air you cant trap it so we have to kick the ball along the ground. Here is an image to show what I mean.Image result for trapping a football
